Dodge & Eddie finished off the repairs on my old VTX a week or so back and I did manage to take a couple of pix of it with my phone. It has come up looking great - I like the neutral colours as it really highlights the chrome.

Not really - I have a bike which I consider far better for my needs now. And it's a lot quicker!!
What effect is used to make the photo look like that Beaker?
I used Photoshop to select the bike outline, inverted the selection and then applied a blur filter. It is a great effect to highlight an otherwise average photo/background.
